Mahmutlar stretches nearly 3 km along the coast. On a scooter you cross the district in 5 minutes, skip D400 traffic, and park right outside any café or beach bar. Alanya centre is 15 minutes away, the clifftop castle 20. Most hotels and restaurants have scooter parking right at the entrance.
The classic ride is west along the Mahmutlar promenade to Alanya castle (~12 km) and up to the viewpoint — nearly empty roads in the morning. Neighbouring Kestel is 10 minutes east along the waterfront. In the opposite direction, D400 follows the sea to Gazipasha (~25 km): a scenic coastal road with light morning traffic. All routes are good asphalt, no mountain hairpins.
